Ryan Eytcheson is an Emmy Award winning television producer and commercial director. Since early high school, he’s spearheaded creative endeavors and guided shared visions to completion.
Growing up in Sacramento, California, Ryan learned a lot about media from his father Rick Eytcheson. The elder Eytcheson managed radio stations at one time or another that were the flagship for broadcasts of the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Oakland Raiders and a number of other professional and collegiate sports teams. Ryan Eytcheson began directing short films at age 17 while still in high school. He went on to complete dual degrees in Film Production and Public Relations/Advertising from Chapman University in Southern California. Entertainment was always on his mind.
After studying brand integration while working for NBC’s hit show “The Biggest Loser,” he went on to become a product placement producer, directing strategies and brand integration for USA Network, WeTV, ARC Entertainment and Netflix. Ryan brings his unique understanding of branding to producing and directing. In 2013 he researched, cast and produced Mitch Modell of Modell’s Sporting Good’s in “Undercover Boss Season 4.” The episode won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program.
Much of Ryan’s work is geared towards sports entertainment. He recently spent two months with former NBA All Star guard Kevin Johnson – current Mayor of Sacramento – producing a behind the scenes documentary, now in post-production. He also wrote and directed a commercial with current Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
With a long background in sports promotion, film, advertising and passion for the business, Ryan creates heart-racing, ground pounding, high-fiving films that capture the imagination of viewers and motivate them to engage in sports.
